Professor

Dr. Desheng Kong is a professor in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Nanjing University. He attended Peking University for his undergraduate education from 2004 to 2008 and graduated with honors in Physics.

Introduction to Research Career

Dr. Desheng Kong is a professor in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Nanjing University. He attended Peking University for his undergraduate education from 2004 to 2008 and graduated with honors in Physics. He received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University in 2014, under the supervision of Prof. Yi Cui. He subsequently became a postdoctoral scholar of Prof. Zhenan Bao’s research team in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University. In 2016, he received “1000 Plan Professorship for Young Talents” and joined the faculty of Nanjing University.
